Russtech Engineering + Formlabs at Formnext 2025

Frankfurt, Germany — November 19, 2025 — Russtech Engineering, a leader in precision interconnect solutions for aerospace and defense, is proud to announce that its RTTL0002 Contact Retention Test Tool will be featured at the Formlabs booth (Booth E11, Hall 11.1) during Formnext 2025, the world’s premier additive manufacturing event.

The RTTL0002 series is designed to ensure the integrity of electrical connectors by verifying proper seating and retention of crimp-style contacts in mission-critical aerospace applications. Featuring audible and tactile feedback, ergonomic design, and the patented Wing Stop alignment safety feature, the RTTL0002 tool provides technicians with a reliable, non-destructive method for validating connector assembly quality.

Why This Matters for Aerospace
Additive manufacturing (AM) is transforming aerospace production by enabling lightweight, high-strength components and reducing lead times. Traditionally, contact retention tools required complex machining and long supply chains. By leveraging Formlabs’ advanced SLA and SLS printing technologies, Russtech has integrated AM into the development and production of critical tool components, demonstrating how 3D printing can deliver end-use, production-ready solutions for aerospace maintenance and assembly.

Formnext 2025: A Hub for Innovation
Held at Messe Frankfurt from November 18–21, Formnext brings together over 850 exhibitors and 32,000 visitors to showcase cutting-edge additive manufacturing technologies across industries, including aerospace, automotive, and medical sectors. At the Formlabs booth, attendees will see live demonstrations of the RTTL0002 tool alongside Formlabs’ latest SLA and SLS systems, highlighting how digital manufacturing workflows can accelerate production and improve reliability for aerospace applications.

Quote from Russtech Engineering
“Additive manufacturing is no longer just for prototyping—it’s enabling real, mission-critical solutions,” said Ben Lebson, Engineering Manager at Russtech Engineering. “By partnering with Formlabs at Formnext, we’re showing the industry how AM can deliver precision tools that meet stringent aerospace standards.”
